UCLA Beats Arizona in Volleyball Regional

UCLA’s top-ranked women’s volleyball team advanced to the finals of the West Regional Championship with a 15-11, 16-14, 16-14 victory over Arizona Friday night at Pauley Pavilion.
The Bruins were led by Jenny Evans with 15 kills, and Daiva Tomkus added 13.
Arizona’s outside hitter, Terry Lauchner, led all scorers with 19 kills.
UCLA will play Wyoming, which upset Stanford, 15-6, 3-15, 10-15, 15-12, 15-11, for the championship tonight. The winner advances to the Final Four in Hawaii, Dec. 14-16.
