FULLERTON : Frat House Given OK for 1 More Year
- Share via
The Planning Commission granted a one-year extension Wednesday to allow Phi Sigma Kappa to continue operating a fraternity house near Cal State Fullerton.
The city requires fraternity houses to be reviewed annually.
Two residents of a nearby townhouse project objected to the permit’s extension. Fullerton Creek resident John Frank charged that fraternity members made too much noise and in April took lounge chairs from the townhouse’s swimming pool.
Police recovered the lounge chairs at the fraternity house, said Frank, 64.
The fraternity house is on Teri Place just north of Cal State Fullerton in an area with several other fraternity houses.
