ANAHEIM : Fire Destroys Part of Laminating Firm

A fire broke out in a laminating company early Saturday, causing substantial structure damage but resulting in no injuries, Fire Department spokesmen said. The 1 a.m. blaze burned through the roof of Century Laminator at 1182 Knollwood Circle, fire officials said. Fifty-eight firefighters from Anaheim, Buena Park, Orange and Orange County were called to battle the blaze, which destroyed the eastern section of the plant, fire officials said. A hazardous materials team was also called to the scene. The cause of the blaze was unknown. Fire investigators are inspecting the plant.
