A First Place in ‘Poor Taste’ Race

The Dec. 13 View wins first place for poor taste. “In Search of Clothes for the Older Woman,” with its $2,180 dress and $494 outfit, was printed on the same day that another section of the paper featured an article about the inadequate supply of subsidized housing.
$2,180 would go a long way toward getting a homeless family into an apartment, and $494 would buy a lot of groceries.
The two outfits pictured are as out of reach for many of your readers as a trip to the moon.
