The West Coast premiere of “The Downside” by Richard Dresser is at the Pasadena Playhouse, 39 S. El Molino Ave., through Jan. 14.
The comedy involves the antics of a marketing firm that is rushing a new anti-stress product onto the market. Kenneth Frankel is director and the stars are John Getz, Kelly Connell, above left, Megan Mullaly, center, Meagan Fay, Carl Riggiardo, James Eckhouse, above right, Eddie Jones, Paul Guilfoyle and Matt Salinger.
Performances are at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, 5 and 9 p.m. Saturdays and 2 and 7 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $28.50.
