Corday Exits CBS: CBS Entertainment executive Barbara Corday, former head of Columbia Pictures Television and co-creator of “Cagney & Lacey,” will leave CBS. The announcement from the network, which is struggling to get out of the ratings cellar, said simply: “After cordial discussions, CBS and Barbara Corday have decided to end their present contractual relationship.” Corday has been in her present job as executive vice president, prime-time programs, since August, 1988.
