An 18-year-old West Covina man shot and killed his father with a semiautomatic rifle after the older man tried to break up his son’s party early Friday, police said.
Royce Labuguen was arrested at his house and booked on suspicion of murder and held without bail, police said.
Labuguen allegedly shot his father three times after the man asked him to break up a party with five friends about 3 a.m., Sgt. Richard Nelson said. Alexis Labuguen, 39, was shot in the chest, the right arm and the left leg in his son’s bedroom at the Miranda Street house.
