El Dorado 59, Katella 47--Center Chris Facione had 26 points to lead visiting El Dorado. Mike Bradich added 19 for El Dorado. Forward Kevin Karlson scored 17 and Brian Franklin added 14 for Katella (4-13, 0-3).
Esperanza 69, Cypress 61--Joe Foss scored 24 points to lead the host Aztecs (10-7, 3-0). Justin Lin scored 16 points for Cypress (7-10, 0-3).
