NHL ROUNDUP : Bellows’ 34th Goal Leads North Stars

Brian Bellows, enjoying the best season of his eight-year career, scored his 34th goal Monday night at Bloomington, Minn., to lead the North Stars to a 4-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets.
Bellows, with a team-high 62 points, has seven goals and eight assists in his last eight games.
Minnesota goalie Jon Casey recorded his 19th win of the season--second best in the NHL--as the North Stars outshot the Jets, 35-23.
Boston 2, Montreal 1--Defenseman Ray Bourque’s power-play goal at 12:59 of the third period snapped a tie to give the Bruins a victory at Montreal.
The Adams Division-leading Bruins had 1:11 left in a five-minute manpower advantage when Bourque beat Patrick Roy. The penalty occurred when Montreal center Guy Carbonneau, in the act of shooting, clipped John Carter and bloodied his nose.
