Morgan Creek Productions said it expects to spend more than $200 million this year on its upcoming slate of films . . . Finnegan Corp. of San Jose postponed indefinitely its annual shareholders meeting, which had been scheduled for May 8. The company, which produces scientific instruments, cited a proposed merger and tender offer by Thermo Instrument Systems.
