Model Protest
On Saturday, April 28, an estimated 8,300 people participated in a demonstration in Van Nuys on the issue of legalized abortion, a major political and social issue throughout our nation.
The demonstration was legal and peaceful and a fine model for those who plan public demonstrations on any issue in the future.
I thank the planners and participants for their civic-minded attitude and their facilitating the use of police manpower toward another great social issue, crime.
