FIRST TRIP: The Long Beach Museum of Art has begun sponsoring art-oriented tours as part of its new education department, and the first such tour leaves Friday. Fifteen people, half of them museum members, will make a 10-day trip to The Netherlands and Belgium, visiting museums there in commemoration of “Van Gogh 1990,” marking 100 years since the death of Holland’s most famous artist.
