Valentin Mogilny won the gold medal and led a one-two Soviet sweep of the all-around competition at the Men’s European Gymnastics Championships at Lausanne, Switzerland.
Mogilny, 25, won with a score of 58.45. Sergei Kharikov, 1988 Olympic champion in the floor exercise, was 0.15 points behind for the silver medal.
