Ted G. Westerman has been elected corporate vice president-human resources and administration at Hughes Aircraft Co., Los Angeles. Westerman, who also becomes a member of the Hughes policy board, was formerly staff vice president-human resources. He replaces J. Allen Hollingsworth, who will retire July 1. Edgar N. Best, director of corporate security for Hughes, has been named a staff vice president.
