Up to 15 people were hurt when a bomb exploded at a British army depot used by part-time soldiers, police said. Residents were evacuated from nearby apartments and police sealed off surrounding streets. The blast occurred during a private party at the central London headquarters of the Honorable Artillery Company, the capital’s best-known army reserve unit. Police said the bomb was planted on the roof of the building.
