Carlson Wins Women’s Jet Ski Event

Christy Carlson of Spring Valley won the pro-women’s event of the Budweiser Off-Shore Jet Ski Nationals at Oceanside Pier Sunday.

This is the second round of eight nationwide races of the national jet ski tour concluding with the national finals in Chicago the end of July. Carlson, the defending pro-women’s world champion, won round one in Long Beach two weeks ago.

Chris Fischetti of Redondo Beach won the pro-modified event and placed second in the pro-freestyle event to Jeff Kantz of Palm Desert.
