EVERYBODY’S A CRITIC

In the listing for Matsuhisa, Reichl made a negative quip about Magdalena’s, in Bellflower. My own feelings about this restaurant are quite favorable. The presentation, quantity served and quality at Magdalena’s are equal to that of either Patina or Campanile. I recently dined at all three establishments and was amazed to discover that Magdalena’s produced the same culinary results at two-thirds the price of its popular competitors.
