Countywide : Groups Help Bolster Cancer Patients

Cancer patients and their families can attend free support groups through the UCI Clinical Cancer Center, regardless of where they are receiving treatment.
The groups are sponsored by the cancer rehabilitation program at the Clinical Cancer Center in Orange. The support network includes the following:
Grief recovery: Focuses on coping with the loss of a loved one. The group meets Wednesdays from 7 to 8:15 p.m. at the UCI Clinical Cancer Center Pavilion. Call Jann Rabin at (714) 634-5081 for details.
Breast cancer: A support group for women who have or have had breast cancer. Meets Mondays from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the UCI pavilion. An educational program is planned for every third Monday. For information, call Jodi Saia (714) 634-6968.
