A finance company filed suit against Atlanta Falcon linebacker Aundray Bruce, claiming he failed to make payments on two mortgage loans totaling $912,000.
American Home Funding Inc., is seeking more than $1 million. The company charges that Bruce, the 24-year-old former Auburn star and No. 1 pick in the 1988 NFL draft, has not made any payments on the mortgage loans of $432,000 and $480,000.
After being drafted, Bruce signed a five-year, $4.1-million contract with the Falcons that included a $1.6-million signing bonus.
