‘Current Affair’ Producer Departs: Peter Brennan, executive producer of Fox Television’s “A Current Affair,” has left that post to become executive producer of “Hard Copy,” officials for Paramount Pictures, the producer of the show, announced Thursday. Brennan created “A Current Affair” in 1986. “Current Affair” host Maury Povich previously announced he will leave the show next year to host a syndicated talk show for Paramount.
