The latest and largest addition to the Anaheim Stadium business area, Stadium Business Park, will bring four high-rise office towers, a 400-room hotel, a health club, an eight-story parking garage and retail store space to the growing commercial area in the next few years.
Construction of the nearly $500-million project, approved by the City Council on Tuesday, is scheduled to begin in about three years, but may start earlier with the development of the Anaheim Arena nearby.
The business park, which will include two 20- and two 16-story buildings, will be located across the street from the main entrance of Anaheim Stadium on the southwest corner of State College Boulevard and Pacifico Avenue.
Plans for the project, to be developed and owned by the Los Angeles-based Gardner Group, have been two years in the making.
As yet there are no definite agreements with possible tenants, said Steven Dietrich, a consultant for the project.
