Tracey to Oversee Fund-Raising at UC Irvine

Mike Tracey was named assistant athletic director/development at UC Irvine on Wednesday.
Tracey’s primary assignment at Irvine will be to oversee the fund-raising program for intercollegiate athletics. He will begin his new job on Aug. 1.
Tracey has been associate athletic director at Cal Poly Pomona since 1984.
Tracey, 36, graduated from Chico State in 1976 and earned a master’s degree from San Diego State in 1981. He was district sales and marketing manager for AirCal from 1979 to 1984.
