Datum Wins Navy Contract: Datum Inc., the Anaheim-based maker of electronic equipment, said the U.S. Navy has awarded it a contract worth more than $1 million to produce electronic hardware that allows shipboard communication on surface vessels. Louis B. Horwitz, president of Datum, said the award could be extended to include another $750,000 worth of equipment.
