Eric Dickerson, who once threatened to retire rather than play for the Indianapolis Colts, now says he is ready to return to the NFL, even if it means remaining a Colt.

Dickerson, expected to make $1.45 million this year with an option year left on his contract, will not report to camp until his dispute with the Colts is resolved.
