Those wanna-be homeowners should look again at less populous/less popular areas such as the Santa Clarita Valley.
Quality of life here is excellent. Housing is more affordable and freeway traffic is lighter.
They might drive here, look around and be pleasantly surprised. My husband and I are glad that we did!
