Double-Header at Fairplex Park

A stakes double-header highlights action at Fairplex Park in Pomona on Friday when the $40,000-added Beau Brummel Stakes and $35,000-added Las Ninas Stakes share the bill on the 13-race card.
There will be one non-wagering race, the first trial to the Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Breeders Assn. Futurity, at noon. Later in the day, 2-year-old colts and geldings meet in the Beau Brummel at 6 1/2 furlongs. Ten horses are entered, including an entry.
The Las Ninas gives 3-year-old fillies that have not won an added-money event a stakes opportunity over 6 1/2 furlongs. Eight are entered.
