Felipa Perlita Santoyo; Lifelong Burbank Resident

Felipa Perlita Santoyo, a lifelong resident of Burbank, has died in Burbank. She was 60.
Mrs. Santoyo died Sept. 19 of complications from a brain tumor, said her son George Santoyo.
Born Felipa Perlita Sanchez on Aug. 27, 1930 in Burbank, she married Libo Santoyo in the late 1950s. Mrs. Santoyo was active in the mid-1970s with a Spanish acting ensemble called Nostrotos and was a longtime member of St. Finbar Catholic Church in Burbank.
She is survived by her son George Santoyo of Burbank; brothers Albert Sanchez of Burbank, Dennis Sanchez of Sun Valley and Pedro Sanchez of Agua Calientes, Mexico. Her husband died in 1982.
A funeral Mass is scheduled to be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Finbar Catholic Church, 2010 W. Olive Ave. in Burbank, with burial to follow at San Fernando Mission Cemetery in Mission Hills. Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service in Burbank is handling the arrangements.
