Woman, 75, Dies After Being Struck by Car

ANAHEIM — A 75-year-old Anaheim woman died Thursday after she was struck by a car while crossing the street, police said.
Mary Lemelin was walking across the intersection of Walnut Street and Ball Road at 6:20 a.m. when she was hit by a 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, police said.
Paramedics treated Lemelin at the scene and transported her by ambulance to Western Medical Center-Santa Ana, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
No citations were issued pending an investigation, police said.
