Because of the Mideast crisis, oil companies are making enormous fourth-quarter profits while American consumers contribute money, support and possible blood, sweat and tears to the war emergency.
Where greed and oil profits are concerned, ethics and patriotism take a back seat. As a millionaire oilman, President Bush, why aren’t you calling on the oil moguls to exhibit some of the love of country you ask of the rest of us?
