Pegine Grayson’s article (“Pete or Dianne?--Real Help for Kids and Families,” Commentary, Oct. 29), shows how short her memory is.
First, she says Feinstein has promised to sign a bill ensuring unpaid job leave for workers. Doesn’t she know that Feinstein opposed such a bill as mayor of San Francisco?
Second, Wilson’s extensive plan for education reform has been lauded by many. It includes much more than tax credits to parents; it includes freedom of choice in public schools, merit pay for teachers, public kindergarten for those who cannot afford private school as well as universal prenatal health care.
