Glenn 40, St. Francis 19--Joey Romero completed four of 11 for 113 yards and two touchdowns, and running back Ed Paloma rushed for 100 yards in 22 carries and a score to lead host Glenn to its first playoff win since 1970.
St. Francis (7-4) marched 62 yards for a touchdown on its first possession--capped by Larry Duenas’ one-yard run, but Glenn (9-2) countered with drives of 73, 99 and 81 yards to take a 21-6 lead at halftime.
St. Francis quarterback John Willis (eight of 22 for 147 yards) threw two second-half touchdowns, to Doug Fremdling for 27 yards and to Shawn Haney for 19.
Haney had four receptions for 84 yards and a score.
