Authorities are investigating the death of a 26-year-old Alpine man who died late Saturday when his car flipped several times on a dirt road in Lakeside.
James Matthew Christian was killed instantly after his car rolled several times about 11:50 p.m. in the 13000 block of Sohail Road, authorities said.
Christian’s car was reportedly traveling at slow speed on the right side of the road when he apparently lost control, according to the California Highway Patrol.
