Film, TV Actors Named Marshals for East L.A.’s Christmas Parade

Actors Edward James Olmos and Catherine Bach have been selected grand marshals of the 16th Annual East Los Angeles Christmas Parade, scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. today.
Olmos starred in the movie “Stand and Deliver,” which brought national attention to the East Los Angeles community. Bach starred as Daisy Duke in the television series “The Dukes of Hazzard.”
The parade will begin at Whittier Boulevard and Eastern Avenue. It will proceed east on Whittier Boulevard, turn south on Atlantic Boulevard and continue to Olympic Boulevard.
The parade will be televised live on KMEX-TV Channel 34.
