K. Eugene Shutler has been appointed executive vice president and general counsel of MGM Grand Inc., Beverly Hills. Shutler was previously a member of the law firm Troy & Gould, specializing in corporate and securities law and had been general counsel of Caesars World Inc. and counsel to Continental Airlines.
