San Diego Teen-Ager Killed in Accident

A San Diego teen-ager died and a companion was injured early Sunday in a single-car accident on Interstate 805 at California 52.
The compact car was northbound on I-805 at 4 a.m. when it went out of control on a transition ramp, flipped on its side and crossed over onto the southbound lanes of I-805, according the California Highway Patrol.
The driver, Nicole Annette Evers, 18, of San Diego was pronounced dead at the scene. Her passenger, Erica Song, 19, of Rosemead in Los Angeles County, was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where she was listed in fair condition Sunday night.
