Coke Tries Recycled Plastic Bottles: Coca-Cola Co.’s North Carolina bottling operation had begun a limited market introduction in Charlotte of the first soft-drink bottles made with recycled plastic. The two-liter bottles of Coca-Cola Classic will be made with a blend of 25% recycled plastic and 75% “virgin” resin.
