Polish Broker Selling Soviet-Designed Tanks

WARSAW — Ten Soviet-designed T-72 tanks are up for sale in the Polish city of Krakow.
A brokerage company said it was asked by an unidentified seller to offer the tanks for $1.2 million each through a local commodity exchange.
Poland, a major producer of Soviet-designed armor, used to export arms through a special government agency. The tank sale will mark the first time heavy weaponry has gone through a civil commodities market in Poland.
