Cholera Hits 50 at Peru Ministry

LIMA, Peru — About 50 employees of Peru’s Economy Ministry contracted cholera, apparently from food eaten in the cafeteria, doctors said Saturday.
Eight employees were hospitalized Thursday in the Sanchez Moreno clinic behind the ministry, said a doctor in charge of emergency services at the clinic. Others were being treated in another private clinic and two public hospitals in the capital.
