Sword Wars: Steven Spielberg will wield the sword as director of the newest movie version of “Zorro,” the Hollywood Reporter reported Tuesday. Spielberg will work with Tri-Star Pictures to tell the story of the swashbuckling hero who comes to the aid of those in distress in Spanish California. Spielberg is currently involved in another Tri-Star project, “Hook,” with Dustin Hoffman, Julia Roberts and Robin Williams. No star names have been attached to the Zorro project.
