Regarding John Paxson’s middle name (Morning Briefing, May 24): If you want to hint with oblique, esoteric references, your intent should be to help, not mislead. It was Hamlet, not MacBeth, who said, “The play’s the thing . . . “ More appropriate might have been, “Lay on MacDuff, and damn’d be him who first cries, ‘Hold, enough!’ ”
Please, the trivia questions are usually difficult enough.
