Pomona College Pupil Wins Essay Contest

Eric Wang of San Marino, a student at Pomona College, has been awarded a $750 cash prize as fifth-place winner in the annual Americanism Educational League’s student essay competition. The topic of the essays was “A Balanced Budget Amendment: Pro and Con.”
The league is a nonprofit Buena Park-based corporation dedicated to enhancing public education about constitutional principles.
