Myanmar Won’t Accept Returnees From Thailand

MAE SOT, Thailand — Thailand has suspended the forced repatriation of thousands of illegal immigrants from Myanmar because officials refuse to accept them, a military officer said Friday.
The Thai army said in May that it planned to send back more than 20,000 illegal immigrants from Myanmar.
