The public is invited on Tuesday to take a “hard-hat” tour of the Los Angeles Convention Center, which is currently undergoing an expansion worth nearly $300 million.
The tour, which runs from noon to 1:30 p.m., will take visitors behind the construction barriers that currently surround the site.
The outing will mark the first tour that the National Building Museum has sponsored outside of its base in Washington, D.C.
Tickets are $5 for members of the National Building Museum and $7 for non-members. Visitors should wear sturdy shoes; hard hats will be provided.
To make reservations, call (213) 747-6052.
