Motorist Finds Tow-Truck Driver Stabbed to Death

A tow-truck driver has been found stabbed to death in his truck at an Inglewood intersection and detectives think he was robbed, police said.
A motorist passing the intersection of Century Boulevard and Firmona Avenue saw that one door of the parked truck was open and spotted the driver slumped behind the wheel about 10:30 p.m. Monday, said Inglewood Police Lt. David Garza. The victim, believed to be in his 50s, was stabbed once in the chest, said Garza. His name and the name of the tow truck company were withheld pending notification of relatives.
