Republicans and Budget Battle

George Skelton’s news analysis (“Assembly Republicans--Wilson’s Big Frustration,” June 19) very clearly points out the big lie that Pete Wilson sold to the voters of California.
His counterpart “Republicans” in the Assembly do not support him because his policies are “tax and spend,” just as are those of the Democratic majority. The taxpayers of this state are being bled to death by people such as Wilson, who does not know what his “political” sex is; he should come out of the closet.
