Brain Trust: The JMA Foundation/National Brain Injury Research Foundation, a national organization for survivors of brain injury, has called the film “Regarding Henry” unrealistic. Julien K. Dilks, a brain injury survivor and founder of the group, said he wished the movie could have shown a more realistic picture of the battle to recover from a brain injury, but he did admit that the movie offers victims some hope. The film depicts the recovery of a lawyer, played by Harrison Ford, who is shot in the head.
