Jack Donahue, 73, author and journalist who co-wrote with Leon Jaworski the late Watergate prosecutor’s best-selling book, “The Right and the Power.” Donahue’s other books included “The Confessor,” made into a 1963 film, and “Grady Barr.” He was managing editor of The Houston Post from 1958 to 1960, when he resigned to become assistant managing editor and then managing editor of the Los Angeles Mirror News. In Houston on July 27 of complications from emphysema.
