ROOSEVELT TRIBUTE: Los Angeles County Supervisor Ed Edelman is having his colleagues adjourn today’s board session in memory of James Roosevelt, eldest and last surviving son of FDR, who died at his Corona del Mar home on Tuesday at 83. . . . Edelman aide Joel Bellman says “Edelman was a friend of Jimmy Roosevelt (through Democratic Party politics) and wanted to make some gesture in his honor.” . . . Roosevelt ran unsuccessfully for Los Angeles mayor in 1965 after representing a congressional district there for 11 1/2 years.
