3-Car Arleta Crash Kills 1, Injures 4

One person was killed and four injured in a three-car pileup in Arleta Monday night, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The accident occurred about 8:55 p.m. at the intersection of Arleta Avenue and Filmore Street, Los Angeles police said. No additional details were available.
Two of the victims were seriously injured, fire officials said. The other two suffered minor injuries. The identity of the dead victim was unknown.
