Food for Soviets
What is surplus food? Millions of dollars go from the U.S. Treasury to reward farmers not to grow food. The Agriculture Department pays to put grain in “reserve.” Starvation, hunger and malnutrition debilitates and kills millions. The Soviets face famine this winter. The military has spent billions in high-tech plans to kill them.
With just a fraction of the Cold War budget, we can make food a peace dividend and life instead of death a U.S. idea for a new world order.
